John Rodger | Trust Chair John Rodger is Group Manager Corporate Growth at Vector, a major energy infrastructure group. John joined Vector in 2006 as a legal counsel and since then has held a number of management roles in the business. Prior that that John was a legal counsel with telecommunications company O2 in London, and was previously with a range of corporates and professional services firms in New Zealand and overseas.

Stephen Cottrell | Deputy Chair Stephen has spent over 17 years as a corporate lawyer, and currently works for Minter Ellison Rudd Watts, focussing his practice on sports law and major events. Stephen spent five years as General Counsel to the New Zealand Rugby Union (NZRU), provided legal advice in relation to a wide range of commercial, intellectual property, employment and media issues and disputes.

Miranda Burdon | Trustee Miranda is a director with over 17 years of governance experience. Currently on the boards of Lotto NZ and Meadows Mushrooms Ltd, Miranda is also actively involved in local sports clubs supporting their growth and development. Miranda has had a successful career in general management, sales and marketing for various high profile New Zealand businesses. In 1999, she studied at Harvard University (USA) as the recipient of Trade New Zealand export award. She is a current member of the Institute of Directors.

Professor Mark Orams | Trustee Mark is a professor of Sustainable Tourism at AUT University. Mark is passionate about conserving New Zealand’s coastal and marine ecosystems. Mark has been a professional sailor winning the Whitbread Round the World Race, the America’s Cup in 2000 and is a three-times world masters champion. Mark was the founding Chief Executive of the Sir Peter Blake Trust, is a Trustee of the Motu Kaikoura Trust and the Air NZ Environment Trust.

Professor David Frame | Trustee Dave is an interdisciplinary scientist with a background in physics, philosophy, economics, and policy. He has substantial research experience in climate modelling and has published in the world’s leading scientific journals. Dave has worked for New Zealand Treasury’s Policy Coordination and Development group and holds a visiting lectureship in the Department of Physics at Oxford. He is College Lecturer in Geography at Jesus College and the Director and Professor of Climate Change at Victoria University.
